For many years, The Awning Company UK has proudly supported Peter Hickman and his race team operations with modular awning systems designed specifically for the demands of modern motorcycle racing.
For the 2026 season, Peter Hickman and fellow professional racer Davey Todd launched the new 8TEN Racing operation — combining two highly respected names within motorcycle racing to create a professional new team competing at the highest level.
Operating across major road racing and circuit events, including the legendary Isle of Man TT, the team requires dependable infrastructure capable of supporting both technical operations and hospitality throughout a demanding race season.
Over the years, we have supplied modular race awnings for Peter’s teams while also providing ongoing servicing, repairs and aftersales support — helping keep the team operational throughout changing paddock environments and demanding race schedules.
The new 8TEN Racing team required a professional paddock setup capable of supporting both workshop operations and hospitality functions throughout the season.

To support the new team setup, The Awning Company UK supplied a bespoke 13m x 8m projection GH Modular awning, fully enclosed and complete with terracing.
Designed specifically for motorsport applications, the system provides a large, organised environment for mechanics, riders, sponsors and team personnel while delivering the durability required for a full race season.
The fully enclosed structure creates a professional workshop area for bike preparation and technical operations, while the terracing system helps define hospitality and guest spaces within the paddock environment.
The modular design also allows flexibility across different circuits and paddock layouts, ensuring the setup can adapt throughout the season.
