Safeguard RR

Aimed at motorcyclists this barrier has been engineered to control the movement of air by creating air pockets within the foam construction, to provide graduated deceleration and cushioning for the rider.

Particularly suitable for temporary and street circuits where frequent installation and removal of units is necessary.

We have found the introduction of Safeguard Barriers to be one of the most important safety improvements we have made at Knockhill.Not only do they help to protect fallen riders upon impact, which obviously reduces their risk of injury; they also dramatically reduce the damage to race cars.

We have had a Porsche impact Safeguard Barriers at 110 mph with remarkably little damage; in fact it could have raced again that day! We annually increase the amount of Safeguard Barriers as an on going safety policy.
