Supply and installation of a bespoke vehicle awning for the Foundation’s outreach van.
The OddBalls Foundation is a UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of testicular cancer and encouraging early detection through education and self-checking campaigns.
Since launching in 2015, the Foundation has travelled across the country delivering talks, attending events and working with communities to help spread awareness of testicular cancer. As the most common cancer affecting men aged 15–49, early diagnosis is vital and can make a significant difference to outcomes.
The OddBalls Foundation attends hundreds of events each year, from sports fixtures and festivals to university campuses and community initiatives. With so much time spent on the road, the team needed a practical solution that would allow them to engage with the public whatever the weather.
They were looking for a reliable, hard-wearing awning that would provide shelter for staff, volunteers and visitors, while creating a professional space for conversations, educational materials and fundraising activities.
We worked closely with The OddBalls Foundation to design and install a bespoke vehicle awning that met the demands of their busy outreach programme.
The finished installation provides a sheltered and versatile space that can be used at events throughout the year. As well as improving functionality, the awning complements the vehicle’s branding and helps create a welcoming presence wherever the team goes.
